Ruth’s Chris Steak House

The sizzling plate and butter combination is delicious, if a little deadly to Brooks Brothers shirts. My fillet was perfect, and this is now #1 for prepared steak. Some had questions regarding the service which I don’t share. Some took things a little too far. Rick cried. Then I cried. Then Maggie laughed. She’s such a little trooper.

We’ve updated the batting order. Let’s get some rules in place. There was a proposal  from Mr. Bradley. T. Ray that followup posts be a pre-requisite for future attendance, to enhance the experience and maintain an archive. The motion carried. Let’s get some reviews going gentlemen.

  1. The waiter’s feelings were hurt, and that is just the beginning. Sizzling butter on the plate. Note how we have had little follow up from this fine event…death of steak night?

  2. I thought it was a superb evening that could only be topped by what is to come in September. Oh wait I wasnt there and I certainly dont like this discussion of the end of steak night, that is blasphemy. Now go to your room and think about what you have said, long live steak night!

  3. Ruth Chris, although too much of a tourist attraction and family affair, provided a delicious dinner. Proving that butter on anything is better.

  4. Great evening. Lest we forget the stuffed mushrooms were excellent. The oysters left a little to be desired, however what can you expect from a chain steakhouse in the midwest. Cowboy cut ribeye was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was professional, albeit very slow on the uptake. And, they didn’t offer Don Coffee, but I am not going to revisit that! Did I mention I had a drink or two as well?

    well done gents……

  5. Service = poor, though not deserving of all the nonsense at the end of the evening.

    Loved the steak.
